About Julia Weinstein

As the Founder & Creative Director of Rosewein Design, I lead a Los Angeles–based product development studio that partners with brands to take them from concept to launch. My background in Industrial Design (BSD) and Business Management & Innovation (ASU) allows me to blend creative vision, strategic insight, and scientific expertise to build products that stand out in competitive markets. I am an expert in manufacturing and am obsessive over design details.

My career has spanned prototyping at Replicant Lab, design at Los Angeles Apparel, talent acquisition at Select Models, and running my own modeling agency. This diverse experience gives me a unique perspective on design, branding, and consumer connection. I bridge the gap between trend intuition and technical know-how—helping brands create products that are innovative, effective, and unforgettable.

Product Development Journey: Babygirl Cosmetics

Concept & Formulation

We crafted a distinct brand identity and created a product that was better than anything else on the market for each SKU. We developed innovative, clean cosmetic formulas that were more effective than the competition, with pronouncable ingredients.

Manufacturing & Packaging

Managed meticulous ingredient sourcing, high-quality production, and designed relevant, eye-catching packaging for the entire "Babygirl" product line. We used frosted glass and screen-printed labels. We packaged in re-usable jelly makeup bags instead of the usual carton boxes.

Strategic Market Launch

Orchestrated a comprehensive go-to-market plan, including digital campaigns, influencer partnerships, and promotional strategies for maximum impact. We played up the trending jelly themes and utilized a diverse range of models that had large social media followings.
